This seminar is designed to give nonprofit leaders and board members strategies to not only implement best practices that will keep and retain your employees, but also how to avoid common employee claims in lawsuits. Each participant will receive a checklist to self-audit their organization’s employment practices during the presentation.

  • General employment laws affecting nonprofit organizations
  • Discussion of common employment pitfalls for nonprofits
  • Guidance on classification of workers: independent contractors vs. employees and exempt vs. non-exempt employees
