WHAT IS SEE, TEST & TREAT, and how can it help our community?
On Saturday, 10/7/2023, St. Elizabeth Healthcare is partnering with the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Foundation to offer uninsured women breast and cervical cancer screenings at no cost at our Edgewood, KY Cancer Center & Breast Center.
At this event, called See, Test & Treat, uninsured women can get their PAP test - with SAME DAY RESULTS – plus mammograms, vaccines, and some great information on women’s health all in one day.
NO COST Well Woman Exam and Testing (Cervical & Breast Cancer Screenings) for women who are due for a PAP smear and/or a mammogram (75 appointment slots will be available).

NO COST Same-Day or Prompt Results
- PAP Smear: SAME DAY, face-to-face results within about 4 hours. Attend our Health Fair and get an education while you wait!
- Mammogram: result in 1-4 days

- Connections for any follow-up care
- Learn about health insurance plans & no-cost of health screening programs (if eligible)
Event Requirements & Details:
- Women who are Kentucky residents (most financial help is state-specific for uninsured patients)
- No insurance (= no Medicare, Medicaid, commercial or self-pay insurance products)
- Ages 21 – 65 for PAP smear and no PAP smear in the last 3 years
- 40 to 74 for the screening mammogram and at least 1 year since last mammogram
- Need to register for an appointment. Appointment times & registration flyer will be available in August. We may be able to take a small number of walk-ins depending on our schedule.
- Health Fair 8 AM to 4 PM. Family and children are welcome to attend the Health Fair.
- Lunch provided through our CAP Foundation grant for the women getting their screenings.
- Free Parking. Help with transportation may be available for those who need it, thanks to our generous CAP Foundation grant.
