A brew-tiful weekend is in store for us all because Over-the-Rhine’s favorite beer-centric outdoor event is back! Mittenfest is taking over Washington Park Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 5PM. Will it be chilly? Possibly yes. Will there be plenty of tasty local beer to warm you from the inside out? Absolutely yes! This year’s festival features twenty breweries offering a total of forty different beers plus all-day entertainment. Drinking-aged eventgoers receive ten tasting tickets redeemable for four-ounce pours from any of the participating breweries and one bonus Coca-Cola product from the concession stand. While tickets are required to participate in the samplings, everyone is welcome to enjoy the park, vibe to the music, grab a drink from The Sherwin-Williams Porch, and join in on the community camaraderie! Proudly known as Boston’s rock ‘n’ roll underdogs turned champions, Dropkick Murphys are shipping up to The Andrew J Brady Music Center Sunday night! Since 1996, the boys have created the kind of music that’s meant to be chanted at last call, in packed arenas, and during the fourth quarter, third period, or ninth inning of a comeback rally. Their celebrated discography includes four consecutive Billboard top 10 album debuts, along with 2005’s Certified-Gold album The Warrior’s Codefeaturing the double platinum classic “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.” During the 2025 trek, fans will have the chance to hear Dropkick Murphys’ classics, along with their recently released single “Sirens”—and possibly other new songs from their next album, slated for release later this year.
