Faux fall is in full swing with lots to see and do this week in Cincinnati! The whole community is invited to celebrate the future home of the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati with a Block Party at the Emery Theater. Situated at 1112 Walnut Street, this free, family-friendly event will be fun for the whole family! Enjoy food from LaRosa’s, Graeter’s and Kroger’s On-The-Rhine Eatery; music from Q102, face painting, balloon animals, character meet-and-greets, tours of the Emery Theater and more! Get your first look at the renovated theater from noon to 4 PM.

Continuing their run of incredible live shows this year, award-winning group The Red Clay Strays are making a stop at The ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park with special guest The Dip. The band’s electric live performance has become a must-see for fans across the globe, with the band embarking on their first-ever Australian Tour in May, in addition to festival stops at Railbird Music Festival and Bonnaroo. Come enjoy the band’s signature genre-blending sound, as they meld electric rock and roll with southern soul. Doors open at 6 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available online.

AfterLife Bar, Cincinnati’s newest hotspot for creative cocktails, soulful music, and real connection, is celebrating its grand opening with a ‘Blok’ Party on Court Street Plaza this Saturday starting at 11 AM. Inspired by Blok Game, the DJ hosting the event, the festival kicks off with morning yoga and rolls into a full day of live sets, giveaways, local vendors, and late-night dance vibes. Located at 44 E. Court Street, AfterLife will also feature immersive experiences — think hidden surprises, interactive games, and unexpected rewards. The best part? The walk itself is a joyful, 1-mile stroll through Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove, filled with music, entertainment, and smiles at every step.
