Recognizing our own HCCUSA Foundation Board Member for her enthusiasm, vision, and steadfast dedication to our mission and community: The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA’s “Kudos Corner” proudly celebrates Lorena Mora-Mowry.

We are honored to recognize Lorena Mora-Mowry as one of the recipients of The Pillars of Esperanza 2025 (Pilares de Esperanza), awarded by the Esperanza Latino Center of NKY. This distinction highlights individuals whose service and leadership strengthen and uplift the Hispanic community.

For nearly two decades, Lorena has been a powerful voice for Latino empowerment across Cincinnati and the nation. Through her bilingual platforms—including her Latina Today podcast, digital media work, and community partnerships—she has connected, informed, and inspired thousands.

Her body of work includes more than 200 interviews elevating Latino leaders during Hispanic Heritage Month, as well as her recent participation in the “One Story a Day” (2024) and “Rooted Leadership” (2025) series. Lorena has also collaborated with the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA, the Ohio Latino Affairs Commission, and the Christ Hospital Health Network on initiatives such as the Latina Heart Awareness Campaign (2023) and the Intentional Self-Care Initiative (2025)—programs that encourage proactive, long-term well-being among Latinas.

Lorena has served on the Advisory Board of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA and now contributes her leadership as a board member of the HCCUSA Foundation, Pilar Education. Her passion, creativity, and unwavering advocacy continue to enrich our organization and community.

The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA proudly stands with Lorena in celebrating this well-deserved recognition.
