Mary Malave, Isabel Burgos, Tatiana Garcia and Maggie Irizarry from Cleveland, Ohio, saw a need to create a community support group in Cleveland, Ohio. "A Lil Bit Of Love" started after the Hurricane Maria affected Puerto Rico in September 2017. Isabel starting to donate baskets of goods for people in need. Later, Mary started organizing fundraisers to provide food for Thanksgiving Day, to pay funeral expenses, provide necessities for the houseless population, and to support people with mental health needs. Mary's volunteer work was recognized with a Humanitarian award. Mary Malave and "A Lil Bit Of Love" also received an Outstanding Volunteer award and a Certificate of Brick recognition for the Roberto Clemente Statue.
