Xavier University’s Office of Admission invites applications for the role of Director, APEX Recruitment. The primary responsibility of this position is to share the value of a Xavier education with adult and non-traditional students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and lead institutional strategies for APEX (Adult and Professional Education at Xavier) enrollment
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies for adult undergraduate students
- Oversee enrollment funnel and admission decision processing for undergraduate adult students
- Manage APEX recruitment staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management, particularly with adult or non-traditional students.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience using data to inform decision-making
- Experience managing staff and collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial aid processes, specifically as they relate to adult learners.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Master’s degree
- Knowledge of current market trends and challenges facing adult learners in higher education
- Experience using Slate (CRM) or similar admissions management systems
- Proven track record of building community partnerships and pipelines for student recruitment.
